Services & Capabilities
What services does Panda Prints offer?
We handle your branding so you don't have to chase down a bunch of different vendors. Our main work is embroidery, custom printed apparel (DTF), laser engraving, and sublimation. We also do banners, stickers, business cards, and web and graphic design. Everything is made in-house at our Kennesaw shop, so you're dealing with one person who's hands-on with your order and checks it before it goes out.
Who's behind Panda Prints, and why should I trust you with my brand?
Panda Prints is run by Aaron Alexander out of a shop in Kennesaw. I started it in Puerto Rico in 2020 for a frustrating reason. I needed five custom shirts for another business of mine, and every shop on the island quoted me 14 to 21 days. So I learned the craft myself and fell in love with it, and I built Panda around the opposite of that experience. Most orders are in your hands in 3 to 5 business days instead of two or three weeks. I moved the business to Georgia in 2022, started out in Gwinnett, and brought the shop to Kennesaw in 2025. I care how your brand looks out in the world, and nothing leaves the shop unless it's up to my standard.
What is DTF printing, and why would I choose it?
DTF stands for direct-to-film. We print your full-color design onto a film and heat-press it onto the garment, and it comes out soft and holds up wash after wash. It works on cotton, polyester, and blends, including dark shirts, and it handles photos, gradients, and fine detail that screen printing struggles with. There's no real minimum, so it's a good fit for one shirt or a few hundred.
What can you laser engrave?
Tumblers, drinkware, cutting boards, glassware, coasters, keychains, and custom acrylic or wood signs are the usual ones, and we can engrave most hard goods you bring us. Engraving is permanent. It's burned into the surface, so it won't peel, fade, or wash off.
What is sublimation, and what can you sublimate?
Sublimation uses heat to turn dye into the surface of an item, so the design becomes part of the material instead of sitting on top of it. We sublimate tumblers, mugs, ornaments, keychains, and other poly-coated items, and the color comes out bright and full. The catch is that it only works on light-colored polyester or poly-coated surfaces, so for cotton shirts or anything dark we'd point you to DTF instead.
Pricing, Minimums & Deposits
Do you have a minimum order? Can you do one-off orders?
No minimums on anything we do. One embroidered hat, one engraved tumbler, one DTF shirt, one custom mug, we'll make it. We're one of the few shops around Kennesaw that actually says yes to single pieces. The price per piece comes down as your quantity goes up, so tell us what you're thinking and we'll lay out the numbers.
How much does custom embroidery cost?
Embroidered hats start at $14, and shirts, polos, and jackets start at $20. Where you land depends on the garment, the stitch count, and how many you need. New logos have a one-time digitizing fee from $40 that we waive on exact reorders. Text or call (954) 625-9374 with what you want done and we'll get you a real number the same day.
How much does DTF printing cost?
DTF apparel starts at $10, with full color and no per-color charge, so a photo costs the same to print as a one-color logo. Your price depends on the print size and how many you order, and there's no setup fee. Send us your design and quantity and we'll send a price back the same business day.
What's the difference between DTF and screen printing?
Screen printing burns a separate screen for each ink color, so it gets cheap per shirt at big quantities but costs more on small runs because of setup. DTF prints straight from your digital file with no screens and no setup, so small orders stay affordable and you still get full photo-quality color. For most orders under about 50 shirts, DTF is the better deal on price, speed, and color. Past 100 identical shirts, screen printing can pull ahead.
What's the difference between DTF and sublimation?
DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, and dark fabrics, and it sits as a thin, soft layer on the garment. Sublimation only works on light polyester or poly-coated items, and the design dyes into the surface so there's no feel to it at all. If you need cotton tees or anything dark, that's DTF. If you want bright polyester jerseys, mugs, or tumblers, that's sublimation.
Are there setup or digitizing fees?
DTF, sublimation, and laser engraving have no setup fees. You pay for the work, not to get started. Embroidery has a one-time digitizing fee from $40 to turn your logo into a stitch file, and we keep that file so exact reorders skip the fee.
Do you require a deposit?
We take payment in full when you place the order, not a partial deposit. That holds your spot in the production queue, covers your materials, and lets us start the same day once your artwork is approved.
Turnaround & Rush Orders
How long does a custom order take?
Most orders are done in 3 to 5 business days from the day you approve your proof and pay. That covers embroidery, DTF, engraving, and sublimation. Big multi-piece jobs, or embroidery on garments you supply, can run a little longer, and we'll always give you a firm finish date when we quote it.
Do you take rush orders?
Yes, we take rush jobs when we can fit them. Call or text (954) 625-9374 with your date and I'll tell you straight whether we can hit it. I won't say yes if I can't. Rush costs a premium because we stop the production queue and put your job first, but when you've got an event coming up fast, that's usually what you need.
Can you hit a specific event deadline?
Usually, yes. Tell us your event date when you ask for a quote and we'll either lock it in or tell you exactly what's doable in the time you've got. We'd rather pass on a job than take it and miss your date.
Ordering & Payment
How do I place an order or get a quote?
Send a quote request through our contact page, or just call or text (954) 625-9374 with what you need, the quantity, and your deadline. We'll send your price and a turnaround estimate, and most quotes go out the same business day. The more detail you give us up front, the faster we can get you an exact number.
What payment methods do you take?
We take cash, all major cards, and bank transfer (ACH). Payment is due in full before we start production.
Will I see a proof before you make it?
Always. For any custom work we send you a digital mockup to approve first, and nothing gets printed, stitched, or engraved until you sign off on it. It's your last look before it's real, so check the spelling, colors, and placement carefully.
Can I change my order after I place it?
You can change artwork or sizing right up until we start production. Once a job is actually in production, a change usually means restarting it, which can add cost, so give your proof a careful read before you approve it.
Artwork & Files
What file types do you accept?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) are best, especially for embroidery and engraving, but we also take high-res PNG and JPG. If all you've got is a phone photo or a screenshot, send it anyway. We can usually work with it or clean it up.
What if I don't have a logo, or need mine redrawn?
We've got in-house design, so you don't need finished files to get started. We can build a logo from scratch, lay out your artwork, or redraw a blurry logo into a clean vector. Small tweaks are free. Full logo or graphic design starts at $75, and you keep the vector file to use on every future order.
Customer-Supplied Goods
Can I bring my own shirts, hats, or items?
For embroidery and laser engraving, yes. Bring your own garments, hats, tumblers, or cutting boards and we'll decorate them. We don't run DTF or sublimation on customer-supplied items, because those need specific blanks we stock in-house to come out right.
Is there any risk to bringing my own items?
A little. With embroidery or engraving on something you supply, we can't always know how an unfamiliar fabric or material will react, and we can't replace an item that's damaged by something we couldn't predict. We're careful, and we'll tell you upfront if we have any doubts. If the piece is irreplaceable, let us know before we start.
Can you remove embroidery from a shirt or hat?
Sometimes. Removal works best on lighter fabrics and smaller designs, where we can pull the stitches clean without hurting the garment. Heavier knits and dense designs can leave needle marks behind. Bring it by and I'll tell you straight whether it's a clean job before we touch it.
Care, Durability & Guarantee
How do I wash a DTF shirt, and how long does it last?
Turn it inside out and wash cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low or hang it. Skip the bleach, and don't iron directly on the print (press the inside of the shirt instead). Treated that way, a DTF print and our embroidery thread will hold up through hundreds of washes without cracking or peeling.
Will laser engraving wear off?
No. Engraving marks the material itself, so it can't peel, fade, or wash off. It looks the same in year ten as it does on day one.
Do you stand behind your work?
Yes. If we got something wrong, like a misspelled name, the wrong color, or off-center placement, we remake it at no charge. I'd rather you tell the next person to come to us than warn them off. You can read our full policy on the refund and return policy page.
Location, Hours & Service Area
Where are you located, and what are your hours?

Which areas do you serve?
We're based in Kennesaw and work most across Cobb and Cherokee counties, including Marietta, Acworth, Smyrna, Powder Springs, Austell, Mableton, Vinings, Woodstock, and Canton. We also take care of customers throughout Gwinnett and the rest of metro Atlanta, and we ship nationwide when that's the easier option.
Do you offer pickup, delivery, and shipping?
Yes, all three. You can pick up free at the Kennesaw shop, we deliver around metro Atlanta on larger orders, and we ship nationwide. Tell us where you are when you order and we'll work out the best and fastest option for you.
Can I come by, or is it appointment only?
Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, but since we're a home-based shop, a quick call or text at (954) 625-9374 first is appreciated. That way someone's ready for you and your order or samples are out and waiting.
Do you work with businesses, schools, churches, and teams?
Absolutely, that's a lot of what we do. We handle apparel, gear, and gifts for local businesses, schools, churches, sports teams, and event organizers, and we set up volume pricing for accounts that order regularly. You'll get one person who handles your reorders directly, so you're not starting over every time.
How do reorders work?
They're easy. Once we've made something for you, we keep your digitized embroidery file and print-ready art on hand, so a straight reorder skips the setup and digitizing fees. Just text or call (954) 625-9374 with your original order and the new quantity. If you order regularly, you'll have one person who knows your account and handles it directly.
Does Panda Prints make everything in-house?
Yes, everything is made in-house in Kennesaw. I don't farm anything out to a middleman. I'd rather you deal straight with the source than pay someone in the middle, and honestly, I can't stand the thought of something leaving my shop that isn't up to my standard. Keeping it all under one roof is also how we keep turnaround fast and quality steady.
Still have questions?
We respond to most quote requests the same business day.
